About The Client

A global financial services firm with over 80,000 employees worldwide, including a substantial UK presence, the client approached LSP Leadership to design and deliver a high-impact career accelerator programme.

The client’s UK DEI team wanted to expand their inclusion efforts by offering meaningful development for colleagues who were wishing to advance their careers. Their goal was to spark behaviour change through practical learning, one to one coaching, engaging line managers and through expanding networks.

They needed a partner who could help shape a learning experience that felt inclusive, accessible, and grounded in real-life situations. It was important that the content moved beyond theory into action, with space for reflection and shared discussion. The learning had to speak to colleagues across levels and lived experiences, and align with the organisation’s inclusion ambitions.

What We Did

LSP worked closely with the DEI team to co-create a practical, scenario-led learning experience. Our Consultant Partners facilitated a series of 90-minute virtual workshops for groups of 10 to 12 participants. Each session was designed to prompt open conversation and support personal reflection, while building confidence in applying key principles day-to-day. The programme  included:

  • Live interactive virtual sessions with senior executives, facilitators and leadership experts
  • Breakout groups and peer coaching to apply learning in context
  • Real-time case studies and simulations grounded in actual business challenges
  • Experiences, where participants opted into stretch opportunities
  • Executive coaching to deepen personal insight and build momentum
  • Active sponsor engagement, ensuring visibility, reinforcement and support

Each participant also benefitted from 3, 1 hour coaching sessions with an LSP Coach.

The programme was designed to be modular and repeatable, enabling the client to run multiple cohorts across regions, functions and business lines. LSP also supported internal facilitators and line managers to cascade the learning further.

Outcomes and Impact

The feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. They appreciated the safe, reflective environment, the coaching and practical tools they could immediately use. Many commented that it helped them to speak up more confidently and be clearer about the careers.

One participant shared:

“I have really enjoyed these engaging sessions and they have given me the confidence in myself to achieve and be brave in my next steps.”

Following the sessions, the client saw increased demand for more DEI learning. In addition, due to its success and value, LSP was selected to provide a further programme of coaching to support alumni.

What stood out most was the simplicity and effectiveness of the design. Each session offered clear language, practical tools and space for individual reflection enabling tangible actions and behaviour change that felt both achievable and authentic.

LSP’s ability to flex the format, support internal cascade, and work as a thought partner throughout helped build lasting momentum - beyond awareness to action.
